LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY Oct 19th 2015

Many thanks to all the Teams who sent in match reports this weekend.  Full details can be found on our website www.lucansarsfields.ie over 1500 players in action in the last week across all 4 codes from age 7 to 40+!

Our AGM will be held on 26th November 2015 in the function room all members are invited to attend.

Our Senior Hurlers face St. Judes in the semi final on Wed 21^st at 8:15pm in Parnell Park. Our Senior 1 Camogie Team must do it all again in the County Final replay this week.  Hard Luck to our Senior Footballers who exited the Championship and will now focus on promotion. The minor Footballers have a Championship Q Final on Sunday 11am on the Senior Pitch. Best of Luck also to the Sen 2 Camogie Team who have a Championship Final next weekend.

The Clubs Social Calender will have a new addition in 2016.  On Sunday January 17^th we will host “Lucan Sarsfields Leopardstown Leaps” at the racecourse.  A four course dinner followed by a superb day of national hunt racing will set the scene for a great day’s fun.  For further details contact Eoin on 0862734114.

Well done to the Lucan Muckers on their very successful Runamuck Fundraising night on the 10th and on completing the 5K Challenge on Saturday.

LOTTO SPONSORSHIP: The annual Weekly Lotto Sponsorship is now due for renewal. We are appealing to businesses in and around Lucan to sign up to this popular advertising scheme. The rates are: 1 week €50, 2 weeks €90, 4 weeks €150 and 6 weeks €200. We are also appealing to Club members who have their own businesses to consider taking up the sponsorship.  Business details are printed on the weekly Lotto tickets for the number of weeks you sign up for. It is an ideal way of gaining broad sponsorship in the greater Lucan area while helping the Club to run its 70 teams or more. Set Dancing continues every Wed at 8.30pm in Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club, all welcome.

The Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club 25 Card Drive resumes on Friday 16^th October 2015 and will continue to May 2016 in the Clubhouse Bar.  Date: Friday 16^th October, Time: 9.00pm Sharp.

The Club Shop is open on Thursday’s 7:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday’s from 10:30am to 1:30pm.  Lucan District
