LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY Sept 21st 2015

Congratulations to Emmet and the Dublin Senior Footballers on their All-Ireland Football Final win on Sunday.  Watch out for Sam who will be appearing at a Club near you soon!

Our Senior Footballers had an excellent win against Marys last weekend and are preparing for Championship against Castleknock on 30^th Sept.  Our Senior Hurlers line out against Ballinteer in their final round robin Championship game on Saturday at 4pm in Parnell Park.

Our Captain’s Day outing will be held at Luttrellstown Golf Club on Sat Oct 3rd from 1pm to 2.30 pm. It will be followed by Captain’s Dinner at 8pm. The cost of the golf is €30 and the 3 course meal is also €30. To book a golf slot text your name to Mick at 0872470271 not later than 6pm on Sunday Sept 29th.

The Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club 25 Card Drive resumes on Friday 16^th October 2015 and will continue to May 2016 in the Clubhouse Bar.  Date: Friday 16^th October, Time: 9.00pm Sharp 1^st Prize:

2007 Girls Mentors and Parents â€œRunamuck” with Arthur.  On the 17th October 2015 some of our brave Mentors and Parents will take on the â€œ5K Runamuck Challenge” to help raise funds for our Club and our 2007 Girls Football and Camogie Teams.  Prior to this Challenge, on Saturday night 10th October,  we are hosting our Annual Fundraising Night from 9 pm in Lucan Sarsfields.  This promises to be a great night out with music from local band ARTHUR.  Spot Prizes and Raffles on the night, All Welcome.

The Cupla Focal Club will start again on Monday October 5th and continue for 8 Mondays. The beginners class will be from 8pm to 9pm and we will have a ciorcal cainte from 9 pm to 10pm for those who want to use the Irish they have.  Fáilte roimh cách. Just turn up on the night.

The Club Shop is open on Thursday’s 7:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday’s from 10:30am to 1:30pm.  Lucan District
