U11 Camogie Report

March 19, 2015

Sunday Go-Games Blitz March 15th.

Thanks to all the parents and family who came along to enjoy the first games of the season. There is very little between these teams at this stage of the season and lots to look forward to in our future games.

Lucan v Good Council
Both teams played well with a real clash of the ash on display. There was very little between the teams who were challenged by the longer pitch and the long winter lay-off.

Lucan came closet to scoring as fine free-in went inches wide of the post. The scene showed some promising displays of grit and determination from the Lucan players who just missed the end product to close out the game. This was a real team effort for Lucan.

Gutsie display against a strong opposition.

Lucan vs Kilmacud Crokes (three games)

This battle menu was set with expectation as the last time these teams met they shared the spoils of success. The teams are very well matched with a win, a draw and a defeat the outcome of a thrilling day.

The Lucan players had much of the play as the battle was fought in the middle of the park. The margin in each games was narrow enough to say that we had two very evenly matched teams, but they can both score which is great to see. Lucan did well and we know that there is lots more in the engine so well done and look forward to the season."
