LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY March 09th 2015

Many thanks to all the Teams who sent in match reports this weekend.  Full details can be found on our website www.lucansarsfields.ie over 1500 players in action in the last week across all 4 codes from age 7 to 40+!

Membership is now due for 2015 and can be renewed on-line via our website.

Our Div 4 Adult Football Team have vacancies on the management team for a coach and administration leads.  If you are interested please phone 0862130103.

There will be an Oiche Gaelach in the Clubhouse on Mon 16^th March at 8pm.  Plenty of Ceol, Craic agus Cupla Focal promised.

There were excellent wins for our U16A, U15A, U14B and U13A Footballers over Naomh Marnog, Cuala, O’Dwyers and Ballyboden respectively.  The U14A’s earned a hard fought draw with Castleknock in CBS, with a scoreline of 3-14 a piece.  Our Minor A and B Hurlers also had good wins over Fionnbar’s and Fingallians. The Adult Games focus switches to Hurling next week with a full programme of league games.

Our Golf Society AGM will take place at the clubhouse at 8.30pm on Thursday March 12. All are welcome.

 Scór Sinsear Quiz Result:

Well done to our Scór Sinsear Quiz team on the Dublin win Friday night and will now go forward to the Scór All Ireland on Sat 25th April in City West.
9 club teams took part and it was great excitement when Lucan came back to tie for 1st with St Annes and bring it to an extra round. Scoil Ui Chonaill was 1 point behind.
Lucan's experience told in the extra round as current Dublin champions to take 1st place overall.
Thanks to the Lucan supporters for helped on the night and make the other clubs so welcome.
