LUCAN SARSFIELDS’ CLUB NOTES MONDAY February 16th 2015

Many thanks to all the Teams who sent in match reports this weekend.  Full details can be found on our website www.lucansarsfields.ie over 1500 players in action in the last week across all 4 codes from age 7 to 40+!

Membership is now due for 2015 and can be renewed on-line via our website.

Well done to Peter, Chris and Johnny on their excellent win for Dublin GAA over Tipperary at the weekend in the NHL.

There were excellent wins for our U16A, U15A, U14A and U13A footballers over Kilmacud, Oliver Plunkets ER, Skerries and Raheny respectively.  Our U14B footballers also made it 2 from 2 with a win over Na Fianna.  At CCC1 there were wins for our U12s, U11s and U10s over Clanna Gael, Ballyboden and St Annes.  Great start to the season so far well done to all involved.

Hurling Re-Union: The Club is organising a re-union of past hurling players from the 1950’s to 1980’s era.  The event is on Saturday March 7th in the Clubhouse.  If you played adult hurling with Lucan Sarsfields anytime before 1990 we would like to hear from you.  Or if you have a family member, friend or neighbour that played in that period, please help us to get in touch with them.  For more details, please contact Peter at 086-233 8953 or Jim at 01-6282418.

The Acorn Players will present “The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley” in the function room on Saturday 21^st of February admission is 10 euro.  This is a hilarious comedy that will have you shaking in your seats.  Contact Mary 087 7469143 for more details.

The Club Shop is open on Thursday’s 7:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturday’s from 10:30am to 1:30pm.
