Lucan Sarsfields White Collar Boxing
On behalf of the Chairman, Colm Farrell and the executive we would like to say a big THANK YOU. Our organisers, our boxers & their sponsors, our local businesses who all supported the evening, have helped deliver the most successful fundraising event in our club’s history. It was an outstanding evening and an outstanding result for our club….Sars Abú.

AFL9 Skerries Harps 3-12 Lucan Sarsfields 2-21
The Junior B hurlers made the long trip out to Skerries for their league match last week and were rewarded with a good 6 point win. Lucan conceded an early goal but they settled to the task and were soon on the front foot with fine scores from Josh Brant, a couple of long range frees from Finan Breen and Ross Campion. A couple more defensive lapses allowed Skerries to regain the initiative but the Lucan lads showed great resolve and teamwork to knock over a succession of points to trail by just 3 at the break. The second half produced a great team display, the halftime deficit was quickly cancelled out. The forwards took all their chances with some fine individual and team scores which helped the Lucan lads maintain a lead to the end. The decisive scores came midway through the half when Ross Campion struck for two goals in a 5 minute spell. Skerries went in search of goals, but a strong defensive display led by Ryan Brant in goal, Dan Coogan and Jack McCarthy ably assisted by their teammates and a string of points including a great team score finished off by Cian Ryan saw the Lucan lads run out deserved 6 point winners to get their third win of the league campaign.
TEAM: R. Brant, D Murphy, D. Coogan, C. Ryan 0-1, J. McCarthy 0-1, D. Quinn, J.O'Connor, L. Farrell, N.O'Leary 0-3, F. Breen 0-6,R. Campion 2-5, E.Power 0-2, C O' Neill, J. Cavanagh, J. Brant 0-2.

Comhghairdeas mór le foireann camógaíochta BÁC f.16 agus ár n-imreoirí Chloe, Rachel agus Sadhbh inniu!
Congratulations to the U16 Dublin camogie team and our players Chloe, Rachel and Sadhbh in their win against Laois in the Leinster Shield final this afternoon in Kilkenny.
U12 girls football had four teams playing at home on Saturday afternoon. Two teams against St. Kevin's Killian's and two against St Peregrines. All four matches were very competitive and results were very close at the end. Two teams ended in a draw, one a narrow win for Lucan and the other a narrow win for the opposition. It was great to be playing in the sunshine at home on a bank holiday weekend and the girls, mentors and parents enjoyed the afternoon. As always a big thanks to our fantastic Lucan referees, Aisling, Clara, Cora and Roisin who keep the games running smoothly and were fantastic at talking to the girls during the match, explaining the mistakes they were making and encouraging all players during the matches.
We have now set dates for our much anticipated Summer Camps, remember to book early and not be disappointed.
