Congratulations to St Joseph’s College who edged out Mount Sackville 2-7 to 0-8 in the Senior ‘A’ Dublin Post Primary Schools Camogie final.

Our inaugural 12th Lock Adult Camogie Blitz took part on Saturday, great to see so many participants.

Social News & Events

Membership

Membership for 2023 is now open

Our number 1 priority is player welfare and we’d like to remind parents and adult players that players need to be registered and paid members of the club in order to be covered by insurance. This includes training and challenge matches as well as official club games. Any unregistered players that train or play matches are doing so at their own risk and accepting that they will cover any medical costs that may result from injuries.

Just a couple of points when doing membership this year:

  • As per club rules, all managers/mentors/coaches must be full members. Juvenile membership only includes Social membership which is not suitable for this role. All Family membership options include full adult memberships
  • There is an option to purchase a ticket for GAA National Draw along with your membership (see first listed option on membership list). All proceeds go to the club and there is a chance to win a brand new Dacia Duster car and All Ireland Final packages
  • If you have moved address since your last registration, or changed email can you please ensure that the correct details are entered on this year’s application.
  • There is an option to pay membership over 6 months via debit/credit card and this can be selected at the end of the process
  • If you are unsure which option to select or what option are best value for money you can drop a mail to lucan.sarsfields.registrar@gmail.com

Finally, if anyone has any issues or challenges with membership you can contact me in 100% confidence at lucan.sarsfields.registrar@gmail.com and we will work together to sort something out

with thanks

John Cosgrove, Lucan Sarsfield’s Registrar

Triple A

Aaron, Ada and Alex are raising money for the Night Nursing Service with the Irish Cancer Society through a raffle in Lucan Sarsfields that will help Night Nurses to continue to provide all the vital and remarkable care to patients and families suffering from cancer.

They would like to consider their donations as a mark of respect and thanks to the night nursing team who provided fabulous care to their late friend and our past player Molly O’Toole and the rest of the O’Toole family.

The Night Nursing Service relies almost solely on donations every year and all the support possible on the night would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made here
