Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Notes

Congratulations to all the sixth years who are graduating from secondary school this month, and the very best of luck to those about to sit the Leaving Certificate examinations and also to all those sitting end of year exams.



Reminder

All players and team management must be current members of Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club to be insured to train and play. 

To renew or take out membership please use the ClubForce app on your smartphone, or visit this page

When renewing, please ensure to use the same email address as last year. 

If anyone has financial difficulty with renewing membership please email John Cosgrove in confidence at Lucan.Sarsfields.registrar@gmail.com to discuss alternative options. 

Club membership runs from January to December each year,  and is independent of the registration periods of the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association. 

Normally, all members must renew membership before March 31st, however this has been extended for this year only to May 31st.

All memberships renewed before May 31st, can spread the payments over six monthly installments.


County News

Well done to the Dublin Hurlers last Saturday, and to Paul Crummey who came on and scored a great point in the dying minutes of the game. 

Its back to Parnell Park on Saturday 22nd when Antrim will be visiting, match coverage on GAAGO at 5pm.


The Dublin Senior Ladies Footballers take on Waterford on Sunday 23rd, also in Parnell Park, live stream via https://page.inplayer.com/lidlnfl/ throw in time is 2pm.

The Dublin Senior Footballers meanwhile travel to Semple Stadium to face old rivals Kerry, the match will be shown live on TG4 from 1:15pm. 


The Dublin Senior Camogie team will face Offaly at O'Toole Park on Saturday 22nd, live streamed on the Dublin Camogie You Tube channel.. 


The Dublin Intermediate Camogie team travel to Hawkfield to take on Kildare also on Saturday, 2pm. No details on match coverage yet.

COMPETITION - Dublin LGFA are calling on young journalists, aged 13-18 years of age to watch Sunday’s game versus Waterford, to imagine they are at the game, follow the play closely, compose an introduction, note the trend of the game, pick out key players and compile a match report (500 words or less). The winner will recieve a €100 ONeills Voucher and have their report published on the Dublin Ladies Gaelic website

The Club Shop is open Thursdays 7-9pm and Saturdays 10am to 1pm.
