Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Notes

November 19, 2020

The GAA remembers those who lost their lives 100 years ago on Bloody Sunday on 21 November 1920.

"We can't gather together, so we ask you to remember from afar.

Light a candle at dusk this Saturday evening to remember the 14 people who went to a match and never came home."

The Dublin Senior Footballers will be wearing special commemorative jerseys, when they take on Meath in the Leinster Final at Croke Park. Both Darren Gavin and Emmet O’Conghaile are the Lucan Sarsfields representatives on the extended Dublin panel, and we wish them all the very best of luck as they try to win the Delaney Cup for an incredible 10-in-a-row, and for the 15th time since 2005!!
