The 2020 Annual General Meeting of Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club will take place on Thursday November 26th at 9pm.  Due to the restrictions in place, the meeting will be conducted online by an invitation link. Dublin GAA County Board has advised that as a result of the current Covid-19 Level 5 restrictions which are in place until December 1st and the winter close down of Public Parks/usual pitch conditions in December and early January: Cup Competitions;  All Cup competitions have been discontinued. Outstanding games will not be played. Under 21 Championships; The CCC has decided to abandon its plans to play the 2020 Under 21 Football and Hurling Club Championships. Minor Championships: Outstanding Minor Championship fixtures in both Hurling and Football have been deferred until mid-January 2021 at the earliest.

The Lucan District Credit Union Academy for girls and boys born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 only, continues on Saturday. To register your child for a place, contact David Moran, Club GPO, on 0879267607. Pre-registration with David is essential.


The 12th Lock Café opening hours 6-9pm Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday. These times may change in line with Covid-19 guidelines. Available to order now: Lucan Sarsfields Hurling and Football Christmas Hampers customised to fit; choose your own grip and mouth guard colours, also Christmas stocking fillers can be bought in the Café; baseball caps, umbrellas air freshener and  bottle openers. Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Lotto Jackpot €2200.

There was no winner of the €1800 jackpot in the draw held on Thursday 29th October sponsored by Matt Reilly Autoparts, The numbers drawn were 9, 11, 17, 18. Ten Lucky Dip winners, (because of the Halloween Bank Holiday), of €30 each: Carl Masterson, Peter Hickey, Byrne Family, Carmel Bellew, Brian Kearney, Michael Hanley, Moya Sweeney, Don Dardis, Darragh Hunt and Mary Freeman.
