The numbers 1, 4, 23 and 26 were the lucky ones drawn in the Lucan Sarsfields Club Lotto sponsored by John Ryan, Accountant on Thursday 16 July, and many congratulations to Siobhan Nolan, the online winner of the €20,000 Jackpot

Our Senior Hurlers get their championship campaign underway this Saturday evening 18 July, at the club.


In line with Current COVID-19 Guidelines and advice from the HSE and GAA, the ground capacity at the clubhouse is restricted to 200 including participating teams. This restriction means that the match will effectively be played behind closed doors. Only the teams involved, Match officials and persons necessary for the setup of the pitches will be permitted access to the club.


The main club carpark will remain closed to all vehicles, except for access by emergency services.


Parking will be in the overflow carpark, and pedestrians are to enter via the main gates.


 We hope to live stream the match and a link will be provided on our Facebook page on the day. Access to the club grounds for this match is by ticket only,


If you have not been provided with a ticket, please do not attempt to attend this fixture!


Accordingly, this measure will apply to all fixtures to be held at the club, where a large attendance is expected,  until at least 10 August as the commencement of Phase 4 has been extended until then.



Please note the following announcement from the GAA, regarding all Senior Hurling Games this weekend - “Admission to these games is strictly reserved for ticket holders. A limited number of tickets have been sent to participating club secretaries for distribution.  Tickets will not be available from Parnell Park. The Junior Ladies football team had an away friendly to St Peregrines on Monday last, and gave a promising performance ahead of their opening post lockdown game scheduled for Friday 17th July at home to St Oliver Plunkets.


On the same day the Intermediate Ladies Footballers will travel to Dolphin Park to take on Templeogue Synge St. for their League cup fixture.




The LGFA have issued Revised Match Regulations on 15 July, summarised as follows: 

  • As per rule there are still maximum of 30 players (starting 15 and 15-panel members) allowed within the pitch enclosure during the playing of the game. 
  • A maximum of 7 team officials are allowed inside pitch as per current rule. 
  • Subs and Team officials should be positioned on opposite sides of the pitch to allow for government guidelines around social distancing to be followed. 
  • The use of Dugouts is discouraged, but they may be used provided the government guidelines around social distancing are followed (currently 2m between each person) 
  • Maor Uisce (Water Carriers) are not permitted. 
  • One water break will take place between the 15th & 20th minute in each half at the referee’s discretion. 
  • The referee has the authority during the game to send any person in breach of the regulations to the stand/outside the pitch enclosure and such person cannot be replaced.



Draws for "We are Dublin" Camogie Championships will take place LIVE from Good Counsel GAA on the Dublin Camogie Facebook page on Saturday July 18th 10am - with the Juvenile draws taking place (live on Facebook) the following Saturday- Time TBC.
