Senior Football have a break in games until after the All Ireland. Senior Hurlers turned a 0:05 to 0:16 half time deficit into a 4:18 to 0:20 win in a challenge game against Thomastown in Kilkenny, while their next league outing is away to Whilehall on the 16th.

Ladies Football had a 4:12 to 2:09 win over Westmanstown on Wednesday last and face Ballinteer in their Final League game. Having lost just one game thus far their top of the table position is as much in the hands of others as their own.

The revised AWP training schedule is effective from Monday 11th September (available online).

In line with out strategic plan, Football Director Sean Newcombe and his support team will host an open evening, Tuesday 26th 8:30pm. All Adult and Juvenile football Mentors are asked to attend.

The ‘CÚPLA FOCAL’ CLUB is back every Monday, starting Monday Sept 25th 8pm to 9.00pm. Beginners welcome. If your Irish is rusty or you want to be able to help your child with his/her homework or you want to be able to have a basic conservation with a friend.
