Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Notes

April 22, 2021

Juvenile training in the club is set to return on April 26th, as long as public health and government guidelines continue to be observed.

Training slots and locations are being finalised and we will notify all in plenty of time.

Club Membership is now open via the ClubForce app or on the club website. New Members are always welcome, bear in mind that all players must be registered before we return to play/train.

Foireann is a new system that has been implemented using components of the Returntoplay system, used during 2020 for processing Health Questionnaires, and the legacy Games Management System (Servasport) that was previously used for Registrations. Club Registrar, John Cosgrove is making huge progress on the implementation of the new system. As issues are discovered, they are being rectified and tested. We have sent out an information sheet to all parents so that their children can retun-to-train next week, and further communication will be issued in due course. If you have any queries regarding membership or registration, please email john at lucan.sarsfields.registrar@gmail.com

Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club is pleased to announce that Brian Mahon is taking on the role of adult games committee chairperson, as Greg O’Neill has stepped away due to other sporting conflicts. The club would like to thank Greg for his dedication over the past number of years in the role and we wish him all the very best. We are sure that Brian will ensure the continuity of the great work by Greg!

Many Thanks to Hannah Tyrrell for her very engaging chat with our Healthy Club on Wednesday evening. We wish her and the Irish squad the best of luck in the Womens 6 Nations match  versus Italy this weekend.

Congratulations to Neville Murphy, the lucky winner of €1000 worth of MFC Sports kit for the U13 Boys teams in their recent competition on Instagram!

-        Feel more confident in keeping a person safe in times of distress

-        Be able to support members of the community, friends and co-workers

-        Build personal professional skills

-        Have peace of mind knowing the readiness to help is obtained

-        Gain awareness of the supports and services that are available.
