it is with great sadness we learned of the death of Gerry McGarry Snr, father of current Junior Hurler Brendan. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gerry's wife Mary and his children Avril, Dianne, Ger, Bren and Shane and his grandchildren Bobby, Oscar, Sonny, Brian and Finn.

McGARRY, Gerry (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballinagard Road, Co. Roscommon) March 3rd., 2018 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown. Beloved husband of Mary, cherished father of Averil, Dianne, Gerard, Brendan and Shane and a loving grandfather of Bobby, Oscar, Sonny, Brian and Finn. Deeply missed by his loving family, son-in-law Tommy, daughter-in-law Maeve, brothers Tony, Mick, Pat, Johnny and Pete, sisters Rita, Rosaleen and Dolores, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday evening (6th March) from 5pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan on Wednesday morning (7th March) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery.
