Junior Bs had a good win over Naomh Barrog in Adamstown in their first league match. Barrog started well clocking up 3 points before Lucan got going. Points from Mark Quaid and Dermot Donnellan got us started and a rasper of a shot from Eric Greene to the back of the net lifted Lucan spirits all over the field.

Half time saw Lucan behind 1-7 to 0-11. The second half was score for score until Barrog were awarded a penalty which they scored putting Lucan on the back foot. Barrog went 4 points in front but Lucan steadied the ship with points from Sujon Alamgir, Dermot Donnelan and Keith Masterson. We got our break then in a 10 minute spell where Sujon Alamgir struck form and acored 3 goals.

It was frantic stuff for the last 10 minutes where Barrog threw everything they had at us .  Solid defending including some super saves  from William Swaine held back  the tide. A final point from Darragh Quinn just before the final whistle saw Lucan as comfortable winners.

Saturday 19th March

St. Vincents Vs Lucan Sarsfields

Sars made the trip out to Vins on a cool Saturday morning but once the sliotar was thrown in, there was nothing cool about Sars hurling.  In a blistering first half, Sars played super hurling and scored some fine goals and one exceptional long range point.  Vins were up for the game also and posted a good second half comeback but Sars were equally as good in the game and ran out winners in the end.

Skerries Harps Vs Lucan Sarsfields

Lucan made the long journey to Skerries Townparks on a bright but cold Saturday Morning.   Lucan started slowly and were well down and scoreless by half time.   In fairness to all the Lucan lads they fought back in the 2nd half but despite a determined performance from the Lucan outfit in the 2nd half, Skerries prevailed to win out.

Lucan Sarsfields 1-02 Skerries Harps 6-07

Panel: Luke Trunk, Jack Doyle, Luca Kavanagh, Sean Fenlon , Cian Cregg, Liam Farrell, Jack Kelly, Andrew Kennedy, Eoghan Kilduff, Conor O’Neill, Roghan Withero, Alex Skeehan, Ross Campion, Kian Quinn

Lucan Sarsfields Vs Raheny

Unfortunately, this was one of those days that very little went right for Lucan. After a bright start when the lads took an early 1-1 to no score lead Raheny fought back and deservedly went in leading by the same score at half time. Lucan put in a much better performance in the second half and had more of the possession but weren't able to convert this into the scores they needed. The heads were down at the end but these lads will bounce back, no doubt.

 Lucan Sarsfields 2-02 Raheny 4-02

Panel: Andrew Hill, Niall Carron, Sam Donohoe, Andrew Glynn, Niall Higgins, Alex Kelly, Conor King, Jack Langan, Ronan MacCraith, Matthew Byrne, Tommy Mulhall, Matthew Ryan, Fionn Buckley, Jamie Carroll, Finn Tuohy
